Naturally, Steve Jobs was not in power at the time, John Sculley was. Apparently, he had no problem sharing Apple's ideas with a Japanese magazine called Axis. In a 1991 issue unearthed at a second-hand bookstore, we can see that Apple was looking at bike-mounted navigation devices with a Google Street View type of interface, a "TimeBand" wrist computer, and a projection device that could be the roots of the Apple TV.
