House Bunny” star Anna Faris is engaged to “Bride Wars” actor Chris Pratt. A rep for the funny big screen star said Faris, 31, became engaged to Pratt, 29, toward the end of 2008. “They got engaged late last year,” the rep told People.

The couple was spotted walking hand in hand in Los Angeles earlier this week. “We were friends for a while,” Faris told the U.K.’s Times newspaper in October 2008 about her relationship with Pratt. “We grew up in the same area, so we have a lot in common.” The couple will co-star later this year in “Young Americans.” Faris was previously married to Ben Indra, whom she met in 1999 on the set of slasher film “Lovers Lane.” The couple married in 2004.

They finalized their divorce four years later in 2008. Faris joins a number of couples who celebrated the end of 2008 with an engagement, including musical couple Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard, and “Dancing With the Stars” pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff.
