Chris Brown was charged with two felonies in connection with his Feb. 8 altercation with Rihanna. The 19-year-old singer is facing charges of felony assault and making a criminal threat, also a felony. He could face up to four years in prison.
TMZ is reporting that L.A.’s FOX 11 obtained a leaked police report which reveals detectives’ findings from a search warrant in the case. The notes reveal that Rihanna read a three-page text on Chris’ phone from another woman and that’s what started the fight.
Chris is accused of trying to push Rihanna out of the car; he was unable to because she was wearing a seat belt. He then reportedly shoved her head against the passenger side window and began punching her as he drove.
Rihanna’s mouth was filled with blood, which also splattered on her clothing and the inside of the rented Lamborghini. Chris then said, “I’m going to beat the shit out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”
Rihanna then called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there,” Chris replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.”

There are also reports that Rihanna’s camp is even thinking about an attempted murder charge. They might get it if those dark spots on both sides of her neck are bruises. It’s hard to tell if it is shadows or bruises…what do you think?

I can’t think of any excuse why making another person look like this would be acceptable. It doesn’t have anything to do with gender either…a man shouldn’t be beat to look like this
British songbird Leona Lewis has denied claims that her flirty conversation with Chris Brown prompted last weekend’s violent brawl between the R&B star and his girlfriend Rihanna. Chris, 19, has been charged with making threats in connection with the incident which reportedly left 20-year-old Rihanna with serious injuries to her face and bite marks on her body. According to celebrity tattles, the fight broke out after Leona was seen chatting with Chris at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Party on Saturday. “Rihanna saw Chris flirting. He and Leona were laughing and Rihanna saw his hand on the small of her back. It was totally innocent but it set Rihanna off.” But Leona’s spokeswoman says rumors that the X-Factor star was flirting with the attached Brown are categorically false: “This has nothing to do with Leona. Leona is very happy with her boyfriend Lou (Al Chamaa) and it was totally innocent on her behalf. There was no flirting.”

Brown, 19, turned himself in for questioning after becoming a "person of interest" in the case wherein he reportedly threatened and battered an unnamed woman in his car. He was released on a $50,000 bail. 20-year-old Rihanna's name immediately popped up on different websites as the victim as she was seen in the passenger seat of Brown's rented Lamborghini when they left Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party just after midnight. She also canceled her Grammy performance the following night. Police say the victim had visible injuries when they responded to a disturbance call. Brown already left the premises, but the woman identified him as her attacker. Brown was booked for making criminal threats, which could put him in jail for nine years if found guilty. He is due in court on March 5.
Rihanna claims Brown struck her with his fists and that’s what did the damage. There was no weapon used in the alleged attack. Later that evening, during the Grammy telecast for which both Brown and Rihanna were no-shows, bodyguards for the couple were seen moving their luggage out of the London. The ramifications of Brown's arrest? Already charged with making criminal threats – defined in part as a situation where the victim "is in fear for [his/her] life" – the R&B singer may face additional charges at the discretion of L.A.'s district attorney's office. Singer Chris Brown has turned himself in to Los Angeles Police in connection to a domestic violence felony criminal threat incident, Usmagazine.com has confirmed. He was driven in a black Escalade Sunday and was lying down in the backseat, a source tells Us. "He turned himself in around 7 p.m. to one of our stations and is being interviewed by detectives now," officer Karen Smith tells Us. Brown, 19, was taken into custody at 6:30 p.m. and was booked for criminal threat at 7:41 p.m. He posted $50,000 bail and was released. The case is being presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office; additional charges may be filed. He is due in court March 5.
