Chris Brown's bubblegum contract may be about to burst.

Wrigley has suspended the pop star's Doublemint ads in the wake of Brown's arrest for allegedly assaulting his superstar girlfriendRihanna.

"Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown," the company says in a statement to the Daily News.

"We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved."

Brown's squeaky clean image landed him a campaign with Wrigley in July, as part of the company's efforts to reach out to a younger audience.

Brown's top 10 hit "Forever" is featured in 30-second spots for Doublemint.

The singer was released on $50,000 bail Sunday and is due in court in March.
